POE not detecting Steam Deck controller on steam deck

What I mean by that is when I try to play normally on steam deck nothing but then touch screen works. Was working fine a week ago now all of sudden I can't even log in on the steam deck. And no I can't switch to controller in the settings it's greyed out.

+1 as I have the same issue.

POE does not detect the steam deck controller, only the touch screen works and the controller setting is greyed out.

I have tried reinstalling the game and many different controller layouts, none worked.

Hopefully someone can provide a solution.

I was able to get it working by forcing compatibility with ProtonGE.
