CPU Temperature spikes
Hi
Last time I played PoE was in Sentinel, decided to come back this league and was enjoying the game, however, I am having big issues with my CPU temps. Sometimes temp jumps up to 88 degrees: ![]() Recently I've been playing games like Hogwarts Legacy and Lost Ark and I've never seen temps this high. Most of the time it spikes when I enter a town (currently in act 4). One time my PC froze completely (couldn't even move my mouse and had to restart) and on two other occasions I've been disconnected from the server after 10-15 seconds freezes, which I think relates to temperature problems I am having. My PC is quite new and like I said I never had these problems before. Here are my specs: Motherboard: X570 Gaming Plus CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D GPU: RTX 3080TI RAM: 16GB (3200MHz) Windows 11 PoE is on SSD Last bumped on May 9, 2023, 7:50:36 PM

Forgot to mention that I play of graphics maxed out with FPS capped at 144, using DirectX 11. My GPU temp stays very low, only CPU is the problem

Getting disconnected from the server won’t have been related to hardware temperature. What cooler are you using? It’s weird that the entire thread is about temperature, but you don’t mention it.

" GGG doesn't offer TECH support "for the moment" (been like this for several years now), so this is something you yourself would need to fix. Maybe with help from the community. |

I'm having the same issue this league i dont know why, i'm with the same pc since 2019 and i'm only playing with poe+discord open and my cpu reach 80 degrees just by being afk in city, which makes my cpu fan goes to 3000RPM and my pc makes so much noise that i can even hear him with my headphones on.
I dont believe i'ts my pc problem since i only played poe all this years and even with poe+pob+discord opened and 70% RAM used my pc was never so loud. |
