vk::Device::waitForFences: ErrorDeviceLost
This is where it started. I have done everything I could find on this subject, through different topics on this forum and reddit. My game literally won't become playable in any way, shade or form. This is new to me. Never seen it before. But many people seem to have, since 3.18 or so. My game is broken right now. Only PoE btw. Do anyone have this problem now? The error message (thanks for including it, btw) sounds like a Vulkan API error.
If you open the game, go into Options, and in Graphics set Renderer to... well, anything else, do you still have problems? If so, could you post the error message you get when using DX11 or DX12? (I'd suggest the former.) If there's no error, could you describe what happens? I find it difficult to justify optional purchases to support a Tencent-owned development studio that declines to provide customers Technical Support, regardless of how many thousands of euros that customer has spent...

I managed to fix this. I thought I had done everything, but apparently not.
I checked the event viewer and the same warnings plus errors popped up when the game crashed. (btw, it never made any difference if I used another renderer. So Vulkan was not the issue). I got these: "WARNING: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." and "ERROR: The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. The following information was included with the event: \Device\Video3 Error occurred on GPUID: 800 The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table" So I was told to reinstall my GFX drivers..... I feel embarrassed for not having done so already, but I just never imagined a game could corrupt my video driver like that. Again, sorry about that. Anyway, the game haven't crashed since I did that! |

Anyone figure this out? Getting crash 10+ times an hour.
Already re-installed GPU drivers(1080 ti), physically cleaned my pc, uninstalled/re-installed PC. Changed every setting around in the game options. I get crashed to desktop on DX11/12. |

this patch vulkan have shit ton of problems.
my delirium crashes whiteout errors and sometime having "Submit:ErrorDeviceLost" error try to validate with PackCheck.exe it sometimes fix if gpk was corrupted. Last edited by Nibelton#3140 on Apr 11, 2023, 6:54:28 PM

its not vulkan problem, crashes on all 3 renders... its game problems
