Berserk causing tons of FPS drop

Usually I sit at a comfortable 144fps during basically all content including most juiced deli however after equipping Kaom's Spirit and using berserk I was experiencing huge frame drops down to 70fps or so and a lot of game stuttering

Using kaom's spirit to gain rage then using berserk doesn't seem to impact my fps.

I was wondering if there was a fix as it make gameplay quite grating with the stuttering
