Physical Dagger Witch

Hi, i'd like to show you my build for a melee witch.

I killed the bandits for the extra skillpoints as i dont need HP/mana/resists(you get enough from items).

These passives give me alot of physical damage with daggers and tons of crit chance/crit damage.
For survivability i use CI and some extra evasion.

Here are the items i am using atm:


You should try to get as much physical damage/attackspeed/strength/critcal damage as possible. For defense a shield with a lot of ES is must-have. For the other slots i prefer using Int/Dex-items.

Skills:
- use Discipline+Hatred+Haste/Grace(if you feel like you need some more evasion)
- attack with flicker
- run away with whriling blades when ES gets low
- use bloodrage for getting frenzy charges

Ive done lots of chaos runs with Shosya. and surprize! In era of elementeal dmg specs this one work and pwns. :)

Yes, Mightflay is a good choice for the mid-levels. I also used it up to ~lvl 50. It's not that easy to find a dagger with +%physical damage AND +flat physical damage(good daggers must have both).

I am really tempted to try this build! Since I am new and I have only a 40 lvl witch I have a question:
Can you list the gems that you use and indicate which class can acquire them fast? For example blood rage - mara, faster attack-shadow ???

Currently I lack 80% of the gems needed for this build :)

My mainskill changed to Lightning Strike, because i need some aoe to deal with the increased number of enemies.
I'm not sure what support gems i'm going to use. Melee Damage, Melee Damage on Full Life, Faster Attacks, Added Fire Damage, Added Lightning Damage, Weapon Elemental Damage, Mana Leech or Lesser/Greater Multiple Projectiles seem to be good choices.

Some of these are quest rewards. I hope i don't make mistakes:

Melee Damage: Duelist/Marauder
Melee Damage On Full Life: Witch/Templar
Faster Attacks: No quest reward
Added Fire Damage: Not sure, Templar and Marauder might get them a rewards
Added Lightning Damage: Witch(not sure about Shadow/Templar)
Weapon Elemental Damage: Templar
Mana Leech: No quest reward
Lesser Multiple Projectiles: Ranger/Duelist(not sure about Shadow)
Greater Multiple: No quest reward

As auras im still using Grace, Discipline and Hatred. Wrath might be better than Hatred; need to test it.

In numbers: 14k dps buffed, 33k dps with flask.

Thanks man I have just re-assigned my passive points ... I and on Cruel I was not able to use only the dagger. I will roll some new chars in order to get the gems.

Over the global chat someone said thet using piercing is good for lightning strike and multiple projectiles ... Is that correct?
