Dark Cyclone Effect Bugged After Crucible Patch

After the Crucible patch, the first one or two seconds of activating the cyclone skill triggers these really annoying bright red and white effects. I'm using the dark cyclone effect and nothing I do seems to fix it. Can anyone help me? Is this from the new patch?

i thought i was going mad and that i had done something to my gfx or something. I am getting exactly the same effect. Quite fustrating. looks like the alpha map isnt been applied properly or something.



edit: i went through all the options i can toggle on and off in AMD adrenilin as well as in game options and nothing fixed it.
