Unearthing the Past quest bug?

So I have apparently run into a possible bug where I've defeated all the monsters and need to speak with Gwennen but their location isn't showing on the map. This quest is in part 2 act 6. I've rerun all the areas with them fully cleared with no NPC by that name showing up. I need help ASAP, please.

You need to meet an expedition encounter, complete it, and talk to Gwennen in that encounter.

That's the thing. I've traversed all the areas and none have popped up thus far. Unless I'm missing a specific spot? I'll rerun the spots but so far I haven't found anything.

Just keep playing, you will find it/her/them eventually.
Expedition is of no real use until Maps regardless. ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.
