its got several sides, people react differently to reaching max level for some they'll just go make another character and i watched a friend do just that after using the service like 3-5 times through the league sometimes to go from 70>100.
If anything Legion splinters were just a bit too common in sanctum i was genuinely surprised how easily one of my friends who is only just getting his legs in the endgame farming quite a lot of them compared to the breach stones i was grinding out at the time toggling multiple mechanics to obtain and enrich them. buff them too much or make them too hard to get and people will be upset on both sides, I personally don't care for that method of endgame progression but i wouldn't vote to have it removed because with it would also remove a good chunk of the playerbase. " Assuming he was joining 5way rota of 5sets - there is no way he got 70->100 in 5 rotas (25sets). To level up 99->100 alone you need like 25sets (a single 5way at 99lvl gives roughly 3.5-4%, at 98 it gives ~6%, depending on #kills). With 5 rotas, he probably got to 98, or very close to 99. But the OP point still stands - 5ways gives to much exp. |

I use them to solo level. They are pretty easy to do on a build that has good clear and you're unlikely to die. There's no map mods in there, so that 5-way is much easier than juiced Legion encounters in maps. And with those Legion passives on atlas tree I was getting dozens of emblems I couldn't be bothered to sell.
I got my glass cannon build to level 98 through those. It's great, I don't have to beat against a brick wall trying to level up in maps. And I even made some currency out of these, popping my incubators and getting tons of timeless jewels I dropped into "100 chaos everything" tab. Yes they did sold - well, not all of them, but many did. |
