Scion Caustic Arrow Missing From Game

I am playing a Scion and I am in ACT V. I cant find the Caustic Arrow gem anywhere. NO vender has it and there wasnt any reward from any quest for it. I have done all the side quests also. Is there something I am missing?

You can buy it from Nessa in Act 1. Or Siosa in Act 3 Library. Or Lilly when you get to Act 6.

Thanks, yes thats where you are supposed to be able to purchase them. However, none of the vendors have the gem.

You're overlooking it somehow.

It's available for purchase by Scion at Nessa in Act 1 as soon as you enter Lioneye's and turn in the very first quest in the campaign. That also unlocks it at Siosa, and Lilly has every skill gem and almost all support gems in the game available for every class.

Try using the search box on the gem purchase screen, if necessary... :P

Are you in Ruthless mode?

Yikes if Ruthless is the problem. And by yikes, I mean...why wouldn't someone research the differences between that mode and the "main" game before diving in? The differences are pretty substantial in a number of areas after all.

That may well be the problem though. I've still not adapted to Ruthless players casually posing general questions without stating they're playing Ruthless, so I didn't even think of that.

But yeah, OP, if you're in Ruthless that's why you can't find it. You can't buy gems from vendors there. I'd highly recommend reading through the Ruthless wiki entry carefully if that's where you're playing.

BellaHealla
Level 48 Scion
Sanctum League

Not Ruthless, and in the level range for being in Act 5.

To confirm, I just ran a fresh Sanctum Scion to Lioneye's, and Caustic Arrow is definitely offered for sale to the Scion by Nessa.

Thanks for the assistance, folks. No I am not in Ruthless mode. I used search yesterday at all the vendors and it wasn't showing up. This morning now it is.
