On hit interaction with totems

Will your totems cause on hit effects? I.e. if I have the eldritch implicit: "Inflict Cold Exposure on Hit, applying #% to Cold Resistance" will the enemies receive that exposure if applied by a totem? Well, rather can a totem apply it?

If it's applying an on hit effect to an enemy, like your eldritch implicit example, your totems should apply it.

If it's an on hit effect that would be applied to you, such as "gain life on hit", it would be applied to the totem instead.

[Edit] If the effect is triggering a skill, or referencing a skill gem (Mark of Submission ring), that would not be applied by the totem.

In my particular instance, I am looking solely at Unnerve and Cold exposure via the eldritch implicits.

So those should affect my totems?
Yes.
Thanks!
