Will crossovers ever be a thing in PoE?

Over the years there have been some pretty good collaborations between game studios which feature content from another game or unique content for both games in exchange for a purchase or playing either(or)both games and these events for me at least have been quite memorable but PoE hasn't had any of these really has it?

Please consider in the future(after poe2) doing a crossover event, the possibility's are nearly endless in your world of magic and technology in terms of what could be made to fit within PoE from other realms.
