Diablo 4 does it. You should too, PoE.
A gosh darn Brightness slider!
There is no good reason not to offer a basic brightness option. It doesn't have to be of newfangled design, just a simple in-game slider that allows us to quickly and easily adjust the game to counteract IRL glare. Daylight continuously shifts due to time and weather, and being forced to tab-out and/or fiddle with our monitor settings is archaic. Please make basic accessibility part of "the vision". This is something that has always annoyed me, instead of a normal brightness settings like just about every video game has had since the 90s, we get a stupid Light radius system...
You have to resort to using either reshader or tweaking your monitor settings. HC balance should be separate from SC I don't care which outdated 1993 game dev philosophy this goes against. youtube/twitch.tv/DESPAIR268
REVERT SUNDER :) REVERT SEISMIC CRY :) REVERT IMPALER :) REVERT GAME :)) MAKE DUALWIELD GREAT AGAIN :) |

" you must have forgotten about diablo 2's light radius system... you know the big game that influenced POE's development. |

" Yeah, D2 is no excuse to still have that garbage outdated system over 20 years later in a ''modern'' ARPG. HC balance should be separate from SC I don't care which outdated 1993 game dev philosophy this goes against. youtube/twitch.tv/DESPAIR268

3.21 light radius meta
we'll get a spell that scales its damage and AOE on light radius and in 3.22 it will be removed from the game to be replaced with a simple brightness bar and you'll rejoice |
