i dont think so went through the wiki and i dont see any information on sustained self stunn.
Why do you want to be stunned anyway? Last edited by primus1213#5843 on Mar 24, 2023, 10:01:17 AM

it'd be a cool unique. always stunned or all hits stun with 100% reduced effect. some "while stunned" buff etc..

As a matter of fact, "being always stunned" was a build, in 2015, and virtually possible.
People found out that when using Scold's Birdle, Auxium and something that put to 0 your ES (back then Eldritch Battery converted ES into mana, rather than making it protect it, thereby making you effectively with 0 ES always), you would have been perma-stunned at the first use of a skill, when paired with a Cast when Stunned. Think of it as a precursor of the Heartbound Loop. in January of that year, GGG chose that this was an exploit they did not want in the game, and patched Scold and Doedre's Elixir so that reflected damage from your items won't stun you in any possible way. So no, you can put an Agnostic and Auxium on nowadays, but you can't pull out those kind of "on stunned" shenanigans anymore |

Ah, that's regrettable sir. I wonder what the reasoning was. I was attracted to this game initially by the promise of build diversity. Is the burden of keeping up with balancing novel builds the culprit? Absolutely regrettable.

" using Skyforth or Valyrium on a build with very low mana or ES should get your character stuned with nearly every hit. self found league fan

" Remember that having ES before getting hit (as in, even in case an hit takes away all your ES) will still give you the inherent "50% Chance to Avoid Being Stunned" that ES gives to you (or monsters), so for the sake of self-stunning you want to have your ES as 0. That said, if Agnostic is too far you may consider Gluttony and either Skyforth/Valyrium + Blood Magic (your Mana is 0 = everything stuns you) " I've managed to find the thread where Mark_GGG explained the "self-stunning is exploit", I'll quote him for reference (Quote is for February 2015, after the January patch): " Of course, self-stunning may be "unlawful" but looping definitely isn't. Heartbound loop, Ward loop and Writhing Jar loop are some examples of looping ingame that just requires you to get a perfect timing in order to trigger - letting you become a literal walking death harbinger. Just be careful - whenever something gets too "easy", GGG usually nerfs it in a League or two. Not even Necromancers survived the test of ages (at least, not in the traditional way) As for the "build diversity"... yeah, you might actually want to look into something else for your nerve's sake. This game allows you a lot of build diversity, there are a lot of skills and a huge skill tree after all - heck, you even have a tree for your Atlas passive, you can (almost) choose what kind of endgame content you want to farm. However, unlike other ARPG out there, the chance that your choices performs too poorly to even be "confortable" for you (or profitable) is very high, and the game feeds so much on the Fear Of Missing Out that even saying "I'm actually confortable and have so much fun in keep farming Act 10 final boss" will give you some odd looks. It's like having in front of you a big array of poisons and being told you have to kill something you don't know. You won't definitely manage to kill that something with rat poison if that "something" is an elephant - so you just resort to use the strongest poison you can afford, kill that something without caring on what it is and aiming for an overkill, ignoring all other options. Until that "something" gets an immunity to your poison (3-month nerfs and monster buffs) and you have to pick another just as much powerful if not more Last edited by Maxtrux#0762 on Mar 27, 2023, 3:02:21 AM

I am only talking about counting as stunned.

In response to caboom, that seems like just a reluctance or lack of time to make decisions about stun/certain mechanics.
