What is searing or eating dominant?

My first question is as the title.
Second question is: When i use an Eldritch Orb of Annulment on an item, such as at searing dominant. Do i get 100% remove one of the prefixes?
The third question is: Do Eldritch Orb respect the metacraft?

1) Each item that can have Eldritch influence can have both a Searing Exarch and Eater of Worlds mod (gained by using either an Ember or Ichor, respectively). There are 6 tiers of each and dominant means that that influence is higher. If your item has no influence of either kind, using only an Ember of any tier makes it Searing Exarch dominant and using only an Ichor of any tier makes it Eater of Worlds dominant.

2) If the item is Searing Exarch dominant, then yes.

3) I assume you are referring to Cannot Roll Attacks / Caster and slamming Eldritch Exalts. I haven't personally tried it so I can't answer this one.

That means: They can't be use with their purpose on jewel item.(Ring, Amulet...)
Because jewel can not have Eldritch influence, right?
