Death's oath + energy leech support

Hi, googled the internet, didnt find any info.
Can you socket energy leech support in death's oath and when you use soulrend (also socketed in death's oath) does the increased damage apply to the death aura, because through soulrend youre leeching ES intrinsically through the gem soulrend itself and additionally throught the support gem.

Energy Leech Support can't support Death Aura, so no.

You also don't want Soulrend socketed into Death's Oath as you are basically gimping yourself for no upside.
