Foothills Macro Question

As I've heard from several sources on Twitch, you can use a macro that does input for you as long as you press a button for each input yourself. That is understandable.

Then there is the statement that you can also bind different macros to a button that then changes the macros after each input, such as in wow cast sequence macros. You press a button for each individual input.

In foothills this is used to switch instances faster. There you make 3 macros that you either put on 3 buttons or put on one button in an automated macro sequence.

So the question is: Can I then push the topic further. For example, if the previous assumptions are legal, I could make a macro to chance items.
the following listings are the different inputs:
1: Right Click Chance Orb
2: Right click belt
3: Right click Orb of Scouring
4: Right click belt

I then put this macro on 4 keys, or on the mouse wheel, for example

Theoretically it's the same, i push a button myself for each input.
This is just the smallest example that came to my mind, you could simply bind entire simulacrum runs to one button, press the button and watch netflix (not that you can watch netflix in the simu anyway xd)

(edited: a few spelling mistakes because I'm not a native english speaker)

Hey there, Dennis3nde!

We recommend refraining from creating or using any program that automates gameplay or does more than one action with a keystroke or mouse click as well as anything that interacts with the game client to provide an advantage over other players or provide information that isn't normally visible. :)

Several actions with one click are not my intended topic. Only one action happens per click, the action only changes. And if that's not allowed, you could assign different keys to different macros. As in my example of the belt chances.

Like:

F1 button: Macro 1> Right click Orb of chance
F2 button: Macro 2-> Rightclick Belt in inventory
F3 key: Macro 3 -> rightclick Orb of Scouring
F4 button: Macro 4 ->right click belt

these are not several actions with a keystroke or mouse click

It's a macro doing "automation". Pretty sure you will get banned for that and you will also not get any other reply from GGG then the one you just got.
The Foothills Macro:

Spoiler
b::
{
mouseclick, left, 959, 482
}
return

n::
{
Send, {Control down}
MouseClick, left, 464, 358
Send, {Control up}
}
return

m::
{
mouseclick, left, 475, 340
}
return

Many racers (poe racing community) say that this is not against the TOS. Even Viyro helps people who want it too use it so they can get it.

With this macro´s you make only One (1(singular)) action per click.
(Some people say you can even bind this on one changing button)

So if this is not agaist TOS i can make such a macro for chancing Belts, or even mor complex things.

So my 2 Questions are:

1. Is the Foothills Macro Legal (if than a changing macro is legel too of course)

2. If the Foothils Macro is legal, is it legal to bind it on One button and press the butten 3 times to get 3 actions one after another

Well do what you want. GGG will not confirm it for you and if you get banned it will be either "breach of ToS" or "3 party software".

GL Exole.
