GGG please work with Nvidia or Amd for dlss or fsr support...
It will benefit massively those with slow pcs..

That seems counterintuitive since only recent GPUs support DLSS.
Pretty sure 3.0 is only supported by 40 series. So... they're not really slow in the first place. It's more something you use at 4k Raytrancing and want more than 50FPS. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac

" Not at all. Dlss 2.0-.2.6 is supported by 2nd, 3rd generation which is like total of 5 years now. Dlss 3 is suported by 4th generation nvidia. ALMOST EVERY VIDEOCARD can run FSR tho.( AMD version of dlss) Even the old ones.Including nvidia cards.. And how told you that bullshit , that you use DLSS/FSR ONLY with raytracing. Thats not true. " Huh... Time flies. My point was a 20 series isn't "old" but I guess it is? Still, the idea this game has trouble running with a 20 series is comical to me. DLSS 1.0 looked awful and I was far more interested in the tensor core downscale AA that kinda just never went anywhere. Still performance in this game is abysmal for a multitude of reasons. Not even APIs are set up well. They might want to get that working. I ran DX for years until I think it was Heist and suddenly it ran like crap, randomly peaking all my cores to 100% so switched to Vulkan out of nowhere. Last least in Vulkan if I opened a Breach in lake my CPU cores went to 100% and I got 1 FPS every 5 seconds so had to switch back to DX. So I mean, sure add support for more stuff but if I'm switching APIs based on the patch version we got quite a few problems. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac

I worked few years on video game design, on 3ds max.
I can tell you this. This videogame engine is like having soviet LADA. You cannot make it better except maybe dlss or fsr. The only way to get the engine better is brand new engine like unreal 4-5 or redo the whole engine from the start. For me the fact that GGG dont use Unreal 4-5 is strange.. The game would look fenomenal without fps dips to 5 fps.. |

" Even the new unreal would struggle with the amount of entities in most cases. A rework of the entire game in a different engine would cost not only a lot of time but also a lot of money. Quite a wasted resource for the very few people who struggle with their outdated hardware. One of the reason why a change is unlikely to happen cause it only affects a smaller part of the player base. The best solution is to take some money in your own hand and do whatever you can to keep your hardware somewhat up to date Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
