Not enough capacity for Scourge Hideout Decoration
The new Scourge Hideout Decoration of the Hellfire Supporter Pack is really cool but it's hard to implement this piece in an already nice decorated hideout since it shares the maximum capacity of decorations with the decoraded hideout itself.
This makes it harder to decorate the "other side" that is visible when you interact with the decoration because every of the already placed objects disappears but they will limit the number of placeable decorations anyways. I would like to see additional maximum capacities for decorations in the alternate dimension OR that any objects placed in the normal dimension that disappear do not count towards the capacity used in the alternate dimension, so that you can also use and design both sides sensibly. Otherwise, this beautiful decoration is unfortunately not one that can be implemented really well in the way it was suppost to be. Last bumped on Feb 7, 2023, 6:57:33 AM

+1
I was wondering if they shared decoration limits or not. |

Unfortunately, both sides share the limit.
And especially with an item for real money, something like this, which limits you so much and contradicts the basic idea behind it, shouldn't be there. |

Agreed.
It's probably due to technical limitations but it would be great if sides did not share the limit. The decoration count is already quite strict especially for larger projects, trying to do a double-sided hideout with the Scourge device makes the limit even harsher. This should be an exciting and fun object to use but it's mostly just another problem in its current form. My Forum Thread | https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3289135

" I think the limit was set to prevent people with weaker PCs from crashing when loading in hideouts with many decorations but since the objects you see first disappear when using the Scourge Decoration, they shouldn't be a big deal anymore. Same for the objects on the other side: Since they are invisible until you activate the device they shouldn't be a too big deal. |
