Overgrown Shrine Map Boss Untargetable and Invincible when you open ritual while doing phase

So during the phase when he clones himself, the ritual was ready to start and i clicked it by accident. Finished the ritual but he was still attacking me, and he was untargetable and invincible. The map had a divine vessel, that is something to take into account.
