Hp or CI for Hardcore?

do I need to buy a "can't be stunned" and a "can't be freeze" amulet/ring for any CI builds?
how about HP build? how many chaos resistance I need for Hardcore? currently I have -44 chaos resistance.. Thanks for any advice |

I died in merciless because I was an idiot and got stunlocked after a lag. But even with that experience I don't think that Chayulas is necessary for every CI build. If you need to get close to the mobs you should get it. Because one desync or lag or bad positioning (usually a combination) can get you killed. You should definately get "can't be frozen" for maps. In merciless you know what to expect, so there you can get around it somewhat decently. You can use a flask to unfreeze you until you got the ring.
Chaos resistance? As much as possible I suppose^^ Personally speaking, CI is a different playstyle and a matter of preference. It is great for dual totem users and stuff like that. You can live without Dream fragments, atleast i only got it at around level 75. Till then you can use dispell frozen and chilled flasks. But still i strongly encourage getting 1 before you start doing maps.

CI gear is very hard to get and is therefore extremely expensive in comparison to HP gear, so you should consider that in your decision.
You can play through merciless and lower level maps with around 0% chaos resist without too many difficulties, just be ready with your pots. |
