Different Gargoyle wing colors put effects on the other wing

I am in Rogue Harbor and I have the Stygian Gargoyle Wings. Someone else is in the same area but with the yellow version of the wings. My wings have the yellow particle effects from the yellow wings and their wings have the blue particle effects from my wings. When I run one wing has a blue trail and one wing has a yellow trail.
