Assassin Soul Drinker and Wilma's Requital interaction with totems

Tried theorycrafting with Assassins Soul Drinker, which gives 20% attack and cast speed.
Combined with Wilma's Requital it should give whopping 40% ias.
Gave totems ES with discipline aura.

Soul Drinker 2% ES leech affects and works with totems.
Soul Drinker 20% attack and cast speed has no effect while ONLY TOTEMS are leeching, Wilma's Requital has no effect.

Equipped Trolltimber Spire (0.5% totem dmg leeched TO YOU as life) and picked Ghost Reaver Keystone to convert it to ES.

Soul Drinker now increases totems attack speed by 20% as the player is also leeching ES, adding or removing Wilma's Requital has no effect.

I assume that the player, NOT totems/minions etc. needs to leeching for Soul Drinker attack speed to affect them, is working as intended. Could be worded better and there should be a mention on the totem wiki page on poewiki regarding this interaction, that local increased attack speed only on totems has no effect at all.

TL;DR
Wilma's Requital does not recognize the 20% cast speed on Soul Drinker ascendancy. 20% Attack speed doesn't work if only totems are leeching.

"Totems cast by players use their skills according to the player's stats, including modifiers from charges and buffs (like auras) affecting the player."

"The player's stats" includes attack speed. This is part of why totems cannot gain power/frenzy charges.

A single modifier will only affect a stat once. A modifier granting both attack and cast speed will not provide twice as much attack speed with Wilma's Requital.

This is also the case for other things that change how modifiers work.

For example, with Crystalized Omniscience equipped, "+20 Strength and Dexterity" grants +20 Omniscience instead, and "+16 to all Attributes" grants +16 Omniscience instead.
Thank you for the information.

My reasoning behind as to why Soul Drinker could/should apply is that in example Onslaught and Adrenaline count Attack Speed and Cast speed separately, despite being worded very similarly to Soul Drinker. Thus benefitting fully from Wilma's Requital.
That does raise a good question, but I assume the answer would be because those are buffs that are summarizing the buff's effects instead of being interpreted as a single modifier.
Just tested and it appears that any node/notable/ascendancy that gives attack AND cast speed on the same line of text does NOT work with Wilma's.

Only when attack and cast speed are on separate lines, does Wilma's work correctly.

Should have tested this beforehand, but didn't think it would be this way. Still seems really weird and limits the working dual nodes to just 3 nodes on the Shadow start and Harrier notable on the entire tree.

Not weird at all. This is also how Omni works.
