Mouse randomly stops working... and then continues, and again.

Hello, my first post, but I'm already really feel awful playing with this issue.
After Sanctum launch, I first time started experiencing problems with mouse. Like I farm map like always and mouse completely stopped working (I have died for this). It happens not always... But maybe when there is a lot of monsters? In really strict situations. The place where I experience the issue non stop, it's heist, Records office contracts(others seem work fine), try to run some of these, maybe you can feel how you can't control your character as he randomly stops listen to you for very short time(like your character stops and wait till monster(guard), finish his animation), but it's enough to ruin things. I'm not developer, but there is really issues with mouse, in a game which is action rpg. It's very bad experience. Last bumped on Jan 20, 2023, 8:24:48 AM

I'm not 100% sure that this is about the mouse, maybe it's just little freezes, I'm questioning this issue. I went to next heist contracts which is Underbelly, and there also I experience little loses of control of character.
I played a lot of heist last days, and doing 1 contract type for quite some time, like full day farm (as I have farmed a lot of them). The issue persist only Record Office contracts and situational in Underbelly (but for test I would offer Records Office). There is 100% something behind this, you loose focus of mouse time to time, and your character is under control in some situations. Players those are "tanky" may not notice this. I think my computer is ok for poe, I had no problems before sanctum release (played whole Kalandra league). In my opinion there maybe issue with leap, charge animations my character freezes and waits for it to happen. Or there some conflict with mouse, as poe is also game for consoles. I think you can reproduce the issue just by playing some of these contracs I have mentioned, like fully play those. Enter, loot, and fight whole way to exit, - you will see what's wrong. " I think you have a connection issue and nothing to do with the mouse. Please make a 300+ packet WinMTR report to an instance IP where this is happening WHILE it's happening. Post the result here. Lockstep(auto), I had no issues with poe, since beginning. I'm not lagging also. But from 1st day of sanctum release, seem there some situations where you lose your mouse focus, it happens shortly, and if you force move your mouse it continues to work, but if you just hold mouse and move it then you find yourself lost.
Like i jump into monsters and your mouse lost, then you have to force move it and pray to be not dead during that time. Mouse loses focus. I don't know what causes this issue, but it happens incredibly in Records Office (Heist contract), I barely have done them, as I lose control of my character very often in very dangerous situations, even tho if it happen for 0.1 sec, it may be enough. In my case that was internet issues, have changed internet plan few days ago and something went wrong, fixed it already.
Also I probably broke mice, due to jump scares sometimes :D PoE is really great game, I enjoy my stay here. Long live to the game! |
