Defeat a Bestiary Boss Not Working

I am trying to get the challenge 'Defeat a Bestiary Boss', and I've killed 2 in my menagerie, but the challenge does not complete. I thought that maybe it was because I killed the types that add mods to an item (the challenge should specify if this is a restriction), but I tried searching for the 'unidentified' beast types and they do not exist on trade.

Has anyone managed to complete this challenge? Thanks.

Which ones did you kill? There are only 4 bestiary bosses--Saqawal (bird), Fenumus (spider), Farrul (tiger), and Craiceann (crab).

I would assume that defeating a Bestiary Boss means fighting them in their boss arena, rather than fighting the captured boss to add an Aspect modifier.

I have no idea what you mean by "unidentified beast types" though?

I killed Saqawal and Farrul, but didn't get credit. This was in the crucible though, not in their arena. When I look on the trade site, there is no unique Craicic Spider Crab, Farric Tiger Alpha, Fenumal Hybrid Arachnid, or Saqawine Rhex for sale. There are rare ones, but those are not bosses. Thanks.

That is because they are rare ones.

They are not bosses. Their beastcrafting recipe opens a portal to where you fight the boss.

Are you not buying the boss, you are buying the beast that opens the portal to the boss.
