Reason:
I am tired of being one shot, for unowned reasons. (what should I build around, what dmg, what killed me).
Bossing is bad, nothing is telegraphed in any reasonable way, if it's rendered, sometimes it's invisible..
Tired of 3rd party websites being mandatory (wiki, crafofexile, pooeninja)

But most important of all, I am not having fun.

The lack of death recap, dps-testing target dummies as well as MTX preview in this game is an absolute embarassment by modern gaming standards.

Don't forget the lack of inventory/stash tab sorting!

yeah, you cant play poe casually, build whatever catches eye and have fun. Well you can, but up to yellow tier maps or smth. If you want more you need to be hardcore player as listed here by op or copy build which aint fun.

you know, its really funny, before this league i took a look into non self spell caster community builds (what a shocker!) like bow build, totems (spell totem support), few melee and most of them had good dps like 4-12M and then 3.5-4k life, if you find 6k you win a lottery. I mean there are a lot of bad builds if you would try to play whatever. And this is really sad imo.

-one magic and one WHITE ring on your char
-no shield
-a Ascetic Ammy
-all ES bases
-no Granit flask
-and literally no life on your Abyss jewels in your darkness enthroned

And there's only ~10 builds that are viable bcs of the constant nerfs, of which significant upgrades cost 20+divines.

More annoying than "challenging". This is getting old.

The thing is PoE was never a casual ARPG that catered towards people who fail to learn basic concepts of gameplay, e.g. survivability.

You also decided to play SSF, which is absolutely, totally on you for not being able to do "x" content with "y" gear.

Understandable, this is the first game I've ever played where you reach endgame and it's remarkably less fun because you're still worried about leveling.

While it's cool to make death meaningful, it's weird to turn what most players hate doing and have to get out of the way into a roadblock.

Then you add in the issue of not even knowing what's killing you half the time, and that it's all so utterly random without any flow what-so-ever.

It's just odd to me that there's so much punishing the player in the game,
why I'm not recommending it to anyone tbh. Totally understandable to be frustrated and walk away from it as there's just no real flow, rhyme, or reason. I'm having a little bit of buyer's remorse right now myself.

And I'm sure if you're into the streaming/google copy & paste/speedrun type of player this isn't an issue, but for just about everyone else it's a big reason not to play.

I was doing MFing, hoping for a covenant, I usually play 1 char and keep iterating over the build, changing here and there. The char you are seeing, also has in stash, a very decent shield extra block life and min dmg, some bone rings and a +1 ammy. In total i can get the char up to block capped (with temp shield), 6k hp, and determination but with lower minion dmg, from 500% ish inc now to ~ 300$ inc.

But i will still get one shot by dunno-what, so I would rather clean up fast with max minion dmg and cast on death portal. I would equip it but I can no longer access poe.

Not having fun is more than enough reasonable justification, doesn't matter how much the "not experts" think you're trolling. Have a good day.
