does enemies maimed by you belt enchant work with minions?

does the belt enchant "enemies maimed by you take increased damage" work if the enemy got maimed by your minions and not by you directly?

in case u have to maim urself: if both u and ur minions have the ability to maim, does the minion maim overwrite ur own maim?

i have maim support on skellys. i can get gloves maim implicit and im using ensnaring arrow with a bow. idk if my maim would work since skellys hit much more often than me. im talking about fighting a boss

EnchantmentMaim, Enemies Maimed by you take 8% increased Damage Over Time

No doesnt work that way.

Keyword being "you". Meaning you have to do something to trigger this additional debuff. Once it is triggered and active, your minions will benefit because the debuff doesnt contain the keyword "you".

So YOU have to maim enemies and then your minions benefit, dealing some extra dmg.
