"The Chains that Bind" gave me a 5 socket armor

Not sure if it's a bug or if it's because I turned the cards in on my level 46 character. This feels horrible regardless. I've farmed this card for so long in SSF.

Can I expect any help from GGG on this?

Do you know why this happened to me?

If you look very carefully at the item, you will see that is does have the six links - the sixth gem slot has gone invisible. The chain that links the slots is still there. I think that this is a graphical glitch.

Probably the latter. Looks to me like several things of related ilk (f.e. Orbs of Binding) now (as of this league) suddenly respect the ilevel requirements for numbers of sockets on items.
Without that having been announced, somewhat unsurprisingly.

I can see the link but there is no 6th socket unfortunately. It's not possible to drop a gem in the missing socket.

Since it has the links, you may be able to unbrick the item by using the crafting bench to make it have 6 sockets, since that simply adds the socket.

I'm fairly confident a rare broken item collector, a curator of a meme museum perhaps, would sort you out with a similar functionally six-linked armor in exchange for this 6-link 5-socket masterpiece of an item.
