Normal rarity 'Thief's Trinket' not counting as equipped for 'The Ascetic'

A normal rarity Thief's Trinket does not count towards The Ascetics mod of #% increased rarity of items found with a normal item equipped.

Yet you can apply incubators to them which specify that they can only be applied to equipped items, this means a normal thief's trinket should work with The Ascetic and it's bugged.

I would be highly greatful if this could be fixed in a timely manner :)

I'm curious too should thief trinket work for ascetic or not. Would be awesome and somehow logic for it to do.

As far as i kno, its always rare and corrupted so it cant be turned normal, is there a vendor of sell 5 return a normal or something?

I think they can't have it count - as it would make using your trinket a problem for several pieces of gear and mechanics that fail while using corrupted items.

I think they split the baby, and rather than force people to not use a piece of gear, they just don't count the trinket - I believe it's like a jewel socket in that respect.

Just an idea im too lazy to try myself:

I *GUESS* you could find out if the trinket counts as equiped stuff asking for someone who uses eternity shroud

Like... i think if you get the all equiped shaper bonus even with the trinket then should be a sign it dont count as equiped gear, as the shrould have a rather broad "equiped items", wich SHOULD i guess, include the trinket if it counts as equiped
