What to do with 6 socket items

I don't get how people don't get this point. Just because you still get 3 jewelers doesn't mean you're not losing money. The moment you pick up a 6S your total worth goes up by 7 jewelers. Fusing that costs you 4 jewelers. Its not free because you still get 3 -_-

there are ppl out there who spend 800s jewlery just to get a 6s so allways be careful what you sell a 6s vaal with high itemlvl goes for few exalts

I use 1 fusing per every 6S I find. I could get lucky and earn much more than 7 jewelers for it ^^ If I fail I still get the 7 jewelers (-4 for fusing) = 3 jewelers profit

if you want to use a bunch of fusings why dont you use them all on the high level items and maximize your potential profit?

or sell them for chaos orbs

My thoughts:

a) Plan where you want to be with your character. A CI witch isn't going to need a 6L low level armor chest. Don't waste on something that isn't going to be useful to you as you're going to need each and every link/fuse/jew/alc/chaos that you can find in order to fabricate IDEAL items for your characters.

b) Don't throw away fuses/chromes on items that you haven't put a least some quality into.

Always have a 6s project in your stash to work on.
If you get dropped a 6s that would be good for your build then work on that.

All others vendor for the jews, get fuses & use on your project(s).

Eh, i've tested that. every 6s & 6l i've gotten so far is after i've used up all my scraps/whestones.

I've 6L'd twice in domination. /shrug
