Achievement bugged? Lycia, The Unholy Heretic without being Affected by Enervation

Multiple times after I killed Lycia, there is no text saying I have failed the challenge, but still, the challenge is not complete.

Is there a bug or something else?

That are many other times it says I failed the challenge.

I'm having the same experience.

It clearly did work at one point because I've seen lots of people with 40 challenges done but I've had probably 10 runs now where I *think* I did the challenge and get no fail message, but nothing happens.
The fail text only pops up at the end of the fight, not whenever you first step into the red smoke zone. Look for the skull-icon debuff that appears to see if you step in it, though it can be hard to notice in the middle of the fight.
Does it do any damage? Because the last 2 times I did the fight, I took no inspiration or resolve damage in that phase and still failed the challenge. I'm fairly certain I didn't get hit at all.

To clarify, I'm doing it in area level 83 and I DO see the fail msg after she dies. If you guys aren't, you may want to check that you are doing at least T14?

Correct, it used to. Now it doesn't.
Still did for me last night.
Hasn't for the last 10 for me, all 81+.

If it isn't fixed in the next day or two it's going to be my last Sanctum challenge.

Granted: I don't think I'm actually failing it -- Lycia is dying in a fraction of a second at this point.

Please note that the quest is specifically area level 83, if you've been doing non-T16 maps.

While the tooltip said it does physical damage and lowers resolve over time, I haven't noticed the damage when I step into it for only a second. It might be the type that ramps up over time, but I haven't tried testing it.

And, just to be clear, Enervation isn't caused by being hit.
You're right, it is 83 only (I have been doing that). I paid attention this most recent time and even tho I was clear when killing her first phase, the red skull thing did show up for a fraction of a second after I won the fight. This will be tough to make not happen.
