"Hits against Enemies Unnerved by you have 50% increased Spell Critical Strike Chance" and totems

I'm currently using this belt
in my Shockwave Totem character.

I'm a bit confused as to whether or not it actually works with totems.
Checking the stats in PoB indicate that it does indeed work but I'm not 100% convinced.

As far as I'm aware the current rule is: "Totems are you, you are not the totem".
In theory that means that the totem gains the enchant, it can unnerve thanks to the eldritch implicit and since the totem is "me" it should be able to benefit from the enchant.

Does that logic make sense? Is there some resource I could check to be sure about this mechanic?

It works. I played totems all the time and generally play that enchant when I can find it.
