FOMO and its implications for me

Dear GGG,

ive been an avid supporter since Awakening, bought every single supporter pack.
I was disappointed with Kalandra League and the games direction in general, so i didnt buy those supporter packs, and i didnt buy the core supporter packs 2022 as well. All fine and good, my choice.

But here's the catch for me: Now i wont ever have access to those unique MTX-Sets and effects, even when down the line i decide to come back hardcore and sink lots of time in PoE. This had me realize that i now no longer want to buy further Supporter Packs, given that i cant get what i might want in the future.

So basically, from thousand of euros over the years it will be 0€ from now on.
Still, my choice all good.

Blizzard just recently began putting out old TCG items for free on twitch and now putting a limited mount from years back into the shop.

I know you always say those supporter packs will never come back because you said you wouldnt...since your monetization model relies on FOMO.
But for me...if you decided to put all supporter packs for sale, when i decide to play again i'd also spend money again.
I am the owner of dozens of exclusive supporter packs, and i say, screw exclusive FOMO content. Make everything available for everyone.

Now i dont know your statistics and earnings, but this way at least from one person you'd earn way more money.

I hope you change your stance on the monetization model.

"Getting more money from you" doesn't enter into the equation here. GGG cannot do the thing you are asking for, period, because it would be against the law for them to do so.

When those supporter packs were sold, GGG told all potential buyers that the packs were limited time only. I don't know what part of the world you hail from, but many countries (including New Zealand) have consumer protection laws in place which make it explicitly illegal for companies to lie to their customers.

I dont know how digital products fall into this category or what the official advertising is, since it doesnt say anything about a limitation on the shop page.

I dont expect GGG to rerelease the packs, but i would only spend money again if there was no limitation involved.

This is the feedback section of the forum and i just wanted to provide some feedback on the FOMO monetization. What GGG do is up to them :)

The two league extended packs was a good compromise since people don't always have money to get something they like. I guess it wasn't making more money so they got rid of it.

I've always been curious if they factored popularity of the game / league and the packs for that decision. 5 of my 14 packs are from that era. Thankfully I have little interest in their recent designs.

There's literally nothing in the new mystery box I want and wouldn't even use for free.
Hence my curiosity on their choice to remove two league packs.

A side note on Blizzard. I quit playing their games because they constantly wasted my time. Esp in WoW. I had / have a Commander and two Champion rank PvP characters in that game. Commander was next up for Grand Marshal since our PvP guild owned that server.

Countless hours of PvP and it means nothing now. I also had the OG ugly White Raptor epic mount for Trolls they refused to refund after my account got hacked. Made it very easy to quit.

People call it FOMO here because it's the sales tactic but there are inherent rights.
When a company dumps on the time / money you invested into a game. You won't be happy.
