General Troubleshooting Guide didn't work

I've been frustrated several times with PoE. This time I decided to start over and study in depth before I began anew.

Playing a duelist and still facing stutter a lot. Also, found that trying to compare items with worn gear by hovering over item and pressing ALT doesn't work. Tried to reset my key bindings - didn't work.

Finally I found your General troubleshooting Guide and followed it all the way through for my PC setup.

"
PC (stand-alone): Run PackCheck.exe from your Path of Exile install directory

first try gave error saying,
"
Fatal error: Your pack file has become corrupted and cannot be reqired. Currently the only way to fix this is to delete Content.ggpk and dwonload it again by running the client.
Press <ENTER> to quit...

So I did and got the same message. Next I deleted ALL files relating to Path of Exiles, config, cache, even data files and loot filters and other things I'd downloaded over the last month. I went into my registry and deleted ALL instances of Path of Exiles.

Now did a clean install and got the same message. As far as I can see your install program is creating the corrupted Content.ggpk file. The only thing I am doing is asking it to install on a different drive than the C:\Program Files\ it defaults to. I have it going to F:\Games where it is making a folder called EpicGames\ for installation.

I am running a

I HOPE YOU CAN GET YOUR PROGRAM TO WORK PROPERLY!

sadly not since your hardware are getting to old to run PoE properly.

Also "optimization" isn't one of the "best" in this game.....
