One shot from sanctum floor 2 end boss

Hi GGG !

i was doing a sanctum run, when i got one shotted by a boss. I didnt have any afflictions that made the boss do more damage and i also only just lost 10 inspiration. From my understanding you're not supposed to "die" in sanctum, maybe there was a dmg bug

Why do you think so? If you have resolve, it does not mean that you are immortal.

Well i've done the encounter multiple times without dying. I've taken hits that where way harder by the boss where i lost a lot of resolve but minimun health.

I know i'm not immortal in the sanctum but the resolve/inspiration mechanic function as the main health. I mean the whole idea behind sanctum is that you lose your resolve/inspiration not your actual HP. I was getting one shotted and only lost a fraction of my resolve/inspiration. If i just had lost part or all of my resolve/inspiration without dying i wouldn't mind it at all.

That doesn't seem right at all, otherwise the initial reveal of saying it was hardcore viable because you didn't lose life, just resolve was false.

No, the amount of resolve loss depends on the distance to the enemy, the amount of health loss depends on the damage of the enemy (approximately of course).

I am pretty sure the initial Sanctum reveal and mechanics said it was resolve, never life so hardcore characters could participate.
