General Discussion - How come you can't migrate from ruthless? - Forum

Is it a technical limitation or a choice? If the latter, I wanna know why. As for why, that I can't find a clear answer for but my guess is they like Ruthless to be isolated 100% rather than some sort of path to more standard ways of playing. If I'm reading you right, you want to take your Ruthless-made character into a non-Ruthless mode. In which case, congratulations on making a Ruthless character good enough to take out of Ruthless. I am not sure GGG really thought that people might want to do that, given how much harder Ruthless is meant to be in terms of building a character. I guess they thought anything you could do in Ruthless you'd be able to do much easier in non-Ruthless. Oh, you got a Realmshaper in Ruthless. Nice find! You can migrate from League Ruthless SSF to League Ruthless, but not further to League. I'm not sure if it is a technical limitation, but it could be given that quest rewards differ in Ruthless, as do vendor recipes and vendor options. Perhaps a conversion is in the making - Ruthless is still in beta, after all.
