Melee cant do the league mechanic

I cant believe that you would release a league mechanic where melee cant participate. are we supposed to make another character just for the mechanic?
I play RF and cant even get to the second floor.

my only comfort is that the mechanic is probably unrewarding just like LOK was but i would still like to participate

this needs to be addressed NOW because most people wont bother to make second character, they will just quit the league

According to other RF players your optimal strategy is to never get in range of enemies with your RF, and instead spam fire traps from as far away as possible. Hope that helps, I'm not playing RF, can't personally vouch for that advice.

RF isn't melee. It's a spell - and has it much better than a lot of melee builds, as you don't have to stop to attack. But I agree, in a league where Chris shared the wise words "we want to buff melee", they sure as hell are doing everything they can to alienate the few melee fans remaining.

Sounds less painful than Sanctum. Deal. xD

I am not deep into this league, not motivated, but the two in my group in T16+ say heist focused or just general map juicing with some basic MF are both a lot more rewarding.

So thats the silver lining.

I'm playing melee and still in the acts. Typically after 3 rooms I have less than 10 resolve left. Playing Vaal Cleave.

Surely by this point the game is not listening to what GGG *tell* you and reacting only to what they *show* you.

You don't even have to read between the lines when it comes to the state of 'melee' in PoE, they're that far apart.

Repetition keeps us sane, exile. We all have learned from farming and grinding that it is the pathway to something that might be good. AN success?

And if it doesn't, well then we'll just go crazy.... :)
