Sad to see Mantra of Flames being removed
When I glance over the patch notes specifically in the Jewel section. They seem to have removed Mantra of Flames.
This specific Jewel being an item that is actually one of the main reasons I myself saw the Monster-mods being split up into smaller ones as a good thing. Being able to steal more buffs, have more buffs and build that momentum, as a Ranger-main I'm really sad to see this jewel go. This is afaik not just a Ranger issue, I've seen some people actually talk about Fortify builds being destroyed by this removal. Boneshatter archetype is getting harder to build a solid damage pool. There's alot of builds and playstyles affected by this removal. I personally would rather see the Pure Talent jewel go than I would like to see the Mantra of Flames go. I know alot of people would probably agree with me on that standpoint. My question is if there's a reason to this removal and nerf of multiple playstyles? I see this as a major downside to the plans I had made for this specific League. Last edited by Jgoldenlion#7209 on Dec 4, 2022, 6:11:17 AM Last bumped on Dec 4, 2022, 2:41:53 PM

Its removal is another instance of "nerf this item for this op build" then the other builds that want to use it get nerfed too.

i built an elementalist around this jewel some time ago, want to say it was somewhere before/during/after harvest, cant remember. anyway, ended up taking every buff i could manage to pack on there, want to say it was like 12 or 14 buffs going while casting freezing pulse in early red maps. gave enough damage to be worth the trouble of slotting in the jewel but was by no means overpowered in my use. it seems once again one of my builds gets a collateral damage nerf because of endgame chase items like HH. as a filthy casual that never gets to use any of these, i suspect somebody in GGG has a special kind of incurable boner for HH. these boner inducing chase items always seem to be at the center of some manner of "undesirable" play but whenever they go to "fix" the issue, said item remains basically unchanged and they go full nuclear on whatever other far more accessible mechanic or basic item that a casual might use [Removed by Support]. no consideration is apparently made for the builds that used the now nuked stuff to survive without the endgame boner items. balancing boners is hard i guess. the whole situation is just terrible.
waiting for OP to deliver. Last edited by Lisa_GGG#0000 on Dec 4, 2022, 2:54:57 PM
