Chaos Orbs can be Divine Shards, we just need to stack more than 10 per slot !

Hello,

I watched the Q&A yesterday and laughed when Chris joked about Chaos Orbs being the Divine Shards people asks. I believe the staff did not understand WHY we're asking for these shards, it's not to so much to make Harbinger interesting rather than making TRADE easier.

I'm willing to buy a supporter pack for the traders fist bump, could you listen to us when we say that stacking 600 Chaos per inventory stash isn't enough in an economy where a Divine is worth 150 / 200 Chaos ?

The idea of a shard is that one unit would be worth several chaos orbs, hence making trading easier. One of the problem from last league was finding people willing to trade hundreds of chaos orbs for divines. If say we could stack 50 chaos orb on one slot, this would drastically IMPROVE the trade experience and make Chaos the de facto basic currency it always was.

thanks !

even 20 chaos stacks would be amazing upgrade
It was funny and sad on multiple levels.

The incredible gap they created between Divines and Chaos Orbs is something they want.

Chaos were reduced in values by 40% due to not compensating the rarity of Divines.

Then they add fracturing shards contradicting the statement of adding shards.

Fact is there are few considerations in this situation. GGG fully dictates the value of currency using meta crafting. That's the only thing that gives Divines value. For some reason they want a large trade progression gap where things are either worth 20c or 20divs.

It's not hard to trade C for Divs. Just scroll down where it's +5 the average and instant sale.
The rest are bots fluffing prices which players now have less impact on thanks to a lack of shards and Div cards to progressively farm as you play. It's rags to riches with no between.

Disagree, it is intended by GGG that there is some trade friction. Also they do not like the idea of an orb functioning like the almighty dollar.

You can trade 3-4 divines per 400-600 chaos which is more than enough and allows those players accumulating divines to gradually increase their stack.

Realistically no one trades 10k chaos in one go.

3-4 Divines for 400-600c? What league were you playing.

Divines spiked to 200+ within the first 2 weeks then never went below till everyone was done playing the league. Hence compared to old Exalts, Chaos are worth about 60% their previous value.

Makes the "Chaos orbs as shards" statement even more obnoxious.

it was holding 200c value for quite some time. A month or so. It was convinient and easy to calculate, so it stuck to it for a very long period. Didn't rose past 200 even though it attempted to for one day.

Which players have near to no influence on now due to a lack of shards and Div cards.

Target farming these things did have an effect. Esp with, what? 5 different Ex Div cards.

Now that there is 1 Div card and drop only. Price fixing is at it's peak performance.

I don't see how that's overreacting. The price gap last league was gross. I didn't have cheap gear by any means. Playing the game though was a lot of nothing then a boom. I have money again.
