Is the Kingmaker recipe a Pat Benatar reference?

I never asked the two who made it directly, but I always assumed it was either a deliberate reference or a result of cryptomnesia.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

I suppose that's possible too. Might be a bit of a stretch given that the words are different, though. But I've definitely noticed my own brain often doing it when I'm trying to compose piano music, so I know how easy it would be for that to happen.

Oh yeah, cryptomnesia's an absolutely fascinating concept, especially when we're taught first and foremost in any creative field to imitate the masters before attempting our own work (within limits of course -- rach 3, 2001, Ulysses all come to mind as shit best left to the masters and not aped by neophytes).

But shit, Pat Benatar was earwormy yonks before we even really used that term, so it really wouldn't surprise me in this case.
