Twitch drops not dropping in certain circumstances

It appears that 'watch time' for Twitch drops does not accumulate in channels streaming PoE which do not have Twitch drops enabled or in a drops-enabled channel after opening a non-PoE-drops-enabled stream.

Details/anecdotal experience:
During the announcement stream today I spent about 30 min 'watching' from https://www.twitch.tv/loreweaver15 (drops not enabled). The watch time counter in my Twitch inventory didn't even show up during that time. I switched to https://www.twitch.tv/pathofexile and the counter showed up and started tracking watch time. I then resumed watching a different game's twitch and the counter stopped at 4% (for about 45 min). I closed the other game's twitch page and refreshed PoE's Twitch page then the counter resumed tracking my watch time. At the time of writing this I've been streaming PoE twitch channels for over an hour and my 'watch time' counter is only at 13% of 45 minutes.

Misleading information from PoE announcements:
The announcements clearly state that *any* PoE stream will work and that drops are "guaranteed" for everyone who watched any PoE stream for 45min. However, as I described above, it's not quite that simple. Excerpts from (and links to) the announcements (all emphasis mine):

Twitch Drops for the Blood Guard Wings will be enabled from the start of the livestream until 8pm PST for all channels streaming Path of Exile during that time.

You will get the Blood Guard Wings after 45 minutes of accumulated watch time on any channel streaming Path of Exile during the event. This means that the drop is guaranteed for everyone who has watched any Path of Exile stream for this amount of time. This promotion is available for all accounts.

Why bug report:
Twitch drops appear to be working as Twitch and GGG intend. However the announcements contain misleading information due to imprecise language ("any PoE stream" vs "any drop-enabled PoE stream", "drop guaranteed after 45 min of watching" vs 'only watch one stream at a time and check your Twitch inventory constantly to see if your watch time is accumulating because Twitch is tetchy' (or w/e), etc).

This is not an overall big deal but it seems like every time PoE does Twitch drops we get people coming back here complaining about it not working. I figure we can at least use correct language (or hopefully not outright incorrect language) when distributing instructions.

This thread was originally posted in the bug reports section (with the 'Text' tag) as it describes incorrect and misleading information posted by GGG.

Maybe the misleading information is intended:

In any case, given the new home for this thread:

I've provided feedback (misinformation is not nice) in the above post and I suggest making efforts in the future to use more precise language around events and especially Twitch drops.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Right. Without modifying the above post and risk getting into further trouble I'll clarify (since the original clarification was removed by support as indicated above) that this thread was originally in the Bug Reports forum but was moved here by entities other than myself. Thus if we believe it was moved (out of the bug reports forum) by GGG staff we could perhaps deduce that the report describes a fully intended situation.
