Don't have eater of worlds quest

Hi, i've been doing all maps together with a friend and at some point must have not talked to the maven/envoy for a quest item, i have the Maven and Searing Exarch options in my Map Device, but the 3rd one is not there, my friend has it. How do i get to the envoy again to get the quest item to unlock this option?

EDIT:
managed to fix it, for anyone encountering the same issue, all we did was spam different maps (for us t6-7) and pray we meet him again, when he appeared i could take the quest item.
