Impale sometimes ignores Southbound's 'Your Hits can only Kill Frozen Enemies'
Venom Gyre with no means of freezing or applying DoT (Brutality, no bleed chance) can somehow kill enemies despite wearing Southbound. It stops being able to when impale chance is removed.
Video (youtube) Possibly related to extremely low damage values. The bug most consistently occurs when the first impale is inflicted by a Returning projectile (dealing 75% less damage). bug reference 1,666,689,874 Last edited by Seikah#0204 on Nov 28, 2022, 11:05:26 PM Last bumped on Nov 29, 2022, 1:09:34 AM

probably not a bug since impale is classified as reflected damage.

" Southbound normally applies to impale hits. In this case it doesn't. One of those things is a bug. Last edited by Seikah#0204 on Nov 28, 2022, 11:49:17 PM

Reflected damage is one of the very few things that ignores Southbound.

" Go test Southbound and impale ingame, or watch five seconds of the provided video. You can clearly see impale leaving most of the monsters perfectly alive (each hit grants Dread Banner stages). I then remove all impales with Call of Steel, which also doesn't kill, and apply one extremely weak impale from a Returning projectile, which allows the next hit to kill.
