Glyphic fossil doesnt work

I used glyphic fossil on elder influenced chain belt and it corrupted the item instead of adding corrupted essence modifier.

Sorry, I was wrong, I checked and I remember it looked like bloodstained fossil. Maybe the description of fossil was different or I was just wrong, sorry for misleading.
