Feedback and Suggestions (Path of Exile 1) - Ruthless gems. - Forum

After beating each act on ruthless difficulty, you can get a single ruthless gem with the ruthless effect tag from the npc that sells gems in that act. (who otherwise doesn't sell any gems since it's ruthless kinda dumb imo forcing trade)

Ruthless effects are there to compensate for qol since skill and item that provide them are disabled or you can't get them in a reasonable manner of time and investment.

Act 1 ruthless gems affixes:
Red: Tailwind on kill (since travel skills disabled in ruthless)
Green: Tailwind on kill
Blue Tailwind on kill

Act 2 ruthless suport gems affixes:
Red: + strike range and + strike target/ + aoe
Green: + proj speed and + pierce
Blue +proj speed and + pierce/ + aoe
(depending on tag of the gem if projectile, aoe, or strike skill)

Act 3 ruthless aura gems affixes:
Red: 30% Reduced attribute requirements for this gem
Green: 30% Reduced attribute requirements for this gem
Blue 30% Reduced attribute requirements for this gem
(no items = no attributes to equip auras)

Act 4 ruthless support gems affixes:
Red: Enemies killed by supported skills explode dealing % of hp as phys/fire/cold/lightning dmg
Green: Enemies killed by supported explode dealing % of hp as phys/fire/cold/lightning dmg
Blue Enemies killed by supported explode dealing % of hp as phys/fire/cold/lightning dmg

(depending on if gem is tagged phys, fire etc.)

Act 5 ruthless Jewel reward:
Limited to 1.
100% increased effect of ruthless affixes.

Act 6 ruthless gems affixes:
Same as act1 so you can get another one if you wish.

Act 7 ruthless gems affixes:
Same as act2 so you can get another one if you wish.

Act 8 ruthless gems affixes:
Same as act3 so you can get another one if you wish.

Act 9 ruthless gems affixes:
Same as act4 so you can get another one if you wish.

Act 10 ruthless reward:
Book of the Labyrinth.
"Use on the labyrinth altar to instantly complete one of the main story labyrinths"

Sry i just had to do this last one. Fuck the lab. Can't do it for 1000th time in the campaign for every char.
