3.20 Fan Fiction New Skill Gems ( Pictures ! )
Had fun making gems since the league was not as fun to play
All of these gems were made with the intention of helping melee. 2 Guard Skills 2 Banners 2 Warcries There wasn't a green Guard skill and didn't see too many folks try pure evasion melee so Thorned Veil was to encourage melee on pure evasion builds. Its similar style to Molten Shell. ![]() As a Bismuth abuser to get through campaign i was thinking of a skill that encourages bismuth flask use and something to help bismuth users when flask charges are down. ![]() Dragonroost Banner was made to deal with the insane Essence Monster degens and Archnemesis life regeneration which was rampant last league which got better overtime but still i feel like this would be a nice flavor gem and a way to mitigate high elemental damage if you are not going to max resists ![]() Someone on the forums a while ago mentioned curses and melee as the main source of damage has been out of date for a bit. Such as using Blasphemy support. Made a theme gem that supports melee and curses and ways to attack bosses as melee from a distance ![]() I really like hybrid damage like Voltaxic Burst and wanted to apply it to Poison and Cold damage. Wanted to make a fun theme with permafreezing ![]() As a melee lover i enjoyed Static Strike and was thinking of ways to make a cool spin with it, of course this can work with other attacks but would need more investment ![]() thanks for checking these out! had the ideas a couple months back but dind't have the time to flesh it out with pictures. i really do hope 3.20 does something with melee. but you never know . <3 to my melee brothers hold your wallet until actual melee is addressed lol Last bumped on Nov 14, 2022, 12:17:20 AM

I won't comment on balance, but these are all really cool ideas. I could give a lot of feedback on wording though if you wanted to make a second draft of these (to use mechanics language more in line with other skills). For example, Thorned Veil should probably rip off of

" thanks thats means a lot <3 " thanks! i've never played petrified blood but i was 100% borrowing that mechanic. was thinking of ways non armour users would deal with one shots. to my melee brothers hold your wallet until actual melee is addressed
