Would LOVE to have POE "Natively" on Linux with No Sub patch or work arounds. Just Natively.
" Which defeats the purpose of what I originally posted. People should not depend on Wine to get games going if gaming companies would just create a Linux NATIVE version of their games. It doesn't matter if its just 1 button that needs to be pressed on steam. People should not have to depend on secondary hooks to get a game going in Linux. It should just NATIVELY work. NO WINE, the game should be the only thing to be installed and work "NATIVELY". Some of you people have been posting replies with "Just use Wine" Which completely defeats the entire purpose of my post. Its a band-aid fix to something that should NATIVELY just work. Just saying.... Edit: edited out vulkan, because it was misspoken. Last edited by SirTwsted#1959 on Dec 9, 2022, 2:46:57 PM

" You may want to read up on Vulkan before you shout "NO VULCAN". Vulkan is an open standards graphics API meant as a competitor to DirectX that is unburdened by some of the historical decisions that make OpenGL generally inferior. You _want_ them to adopt Vulkan because it means they don't need to translate calls to DirectX in the winelibs. Edit: Fixed spelling of Vulkan. I knew something didn't look right.
