are they seriously extending the WORST league of all time?

why...this is the worst league BY FAR and now they are extending it? the new league should been out next month so by how long they are extending it...by 1 month? or even more?

I wouldn't really mind it...if the time was used on leagues instead of PoE2...leaving PoE 1 to wallow and fester in its stagnant state.

It makes sense. It literally can't get any worse right now. Have to make the apology league before the "big" league decent at the very least or they'll lose a huge chunk of money and momentum.

Hmm, more people might try out Torchlight: Infinite and Undecember. Both games have taken some ideas/gameplay from POE.

undecember is terrible why would anyone ever play it it is literally like PoE except you need spend real money to get your 5 link or 6 link and you need spend real money to buy skills gems that game is as malicious as diablo immortal

It has great bosses during story. You can easily play the entire story(which is long) without spending. It is nowhere near as predatory as immortal nor does it throw the cash shop in your face every zone. So no. None of what you said is true.

Is it a real contender to PoE though? nope

Considering the additional time and effort placed in trying to improve Lake of Kalandra along with the holidays coming up it shouldn't be too surprising that the next league got delayed from the additional work and time crunch. If Kalandra had been much smoother then I think the next season wouldn't be delayed since they wouldn't have to program and brainstorm as much as they did trying to fix the glaring issues as Kalandra became a bigger time sink -- which they hopefully don't double down on with 3.20.

everything i said about is true you do need spend money on it to get 5 link or 6 link items or have fun being free to play user farm for 1000 hours to get your first 6 link or just spend 1000$ to get it

I thought it was very likely they would extend, there is a clear release window for seasonal launches and they weren't in it currently. I realise they follow an X weeks then release formula fairly reliably but chances are if its got a chance to be pushed to December it will be.

At least we are getting some events, I'd go for some endless delve racing right now tbh a bit of a nob about would be a nice distraction from how the league kicked me in the balls before they start the next one.
