Off-hand accuracy?
Hello, I am using precise technique notable passive that increases attack dmg 40% if accuracy is higher then max-life on a shield crush build; however, it seems as though the dps of shield crush is using local accuracy of the shield? I don't understand. My "main-hand" accuracy rating is 4334, and max-life 3464, but If I increase life by as little as 5% with a passive, it knocks dps down like 35-40k, even though my max-life is still lower then my "main-hand" accuracy. Is there something simple I am missing here? Does precise technique use the main-hand accuracy when using shield crush? I'm quite confused.
tl;dr It seems I can't increase hp to 3.5k without losing 40k dps even though main-hand accuracy is 4334 with precise technique allocated.... Last edited by icandoitagain#6198 on Oct 4, 2022, 6:31:44 AM Last bumped on Oct 4, 2022, 9:02:34 AM

I would guess that because your shield (weapon) is an off-hand weapon, it uses your off-hand accuracy, which is 3487 according to PoB.

" Ah thanks I didn't know I had to change skill in the calc section to see it. So it is using local accuracy, and I guess I'll have to spec some global accuracy. Darn thats gonna cost me for that mistake, lol. Appreciated. Last edited by icandoitagain#6198 on Oct 4, 2022, 9:02:51 AM
