Update the Divine Vessel recipe? :)
|
Hi,
I know the Divine Orb - Divine Vessel logic makes perfect sense, but now that Divine Orbs are much more rare and valuable than they used to be and nobody in their right mind would spend one on 5 DVs anymore (currently, a Divine Orb is around 200 chaos, while a Divine Vessel can be bought for 2-3), would you consider updating the Divine Vessel vendor recipe to use a more common currency? Chaos, Chance, Blessed, something? Even an Exalted would be sort of acceptable, since while it would still be more expensive than buying it in trade, it would not be insanely more expensive, so someone might do it for speed or in SSF. Personally, I think maybe the Blessed Orb would be best - there's still the symbolic connection to gods (blessing), it's relatively rare (so you won't be buying vessels left and right to upgrade the whole pantheon for the heck of it, unless you're rich), but it's not too valuable, so people would actually use that recipe. You are absolutely smack on right nobody would in trade league use the vendor recipe. :D
So the vendor recipe would need to be updated yes. It's a shame Divine orb and Divine vessel were such a nice match. I have this crazy suggestion, that what if the vendor recipe is: Divine Orb + Blessed orb + 5 normal flasks -> 5 Divine vessels + Divine orb Unless I'm not making my suggestion clear enough, I'm suggesting we get the Divine orb back. Then it would act as a key for the vendor recipe, but is not lost on the trade. The mere presence of the Divine orb is enough to bless the flasks with divinity.

This deserves an upvote.

" Hmmm, that sounds interesting! :) I'd support that, though I'm guessing GGG won't want to go with such an unusual solution. Plus, it still requires a Divine Orb to drop in the first place, which might be a bit too hard on the SSF leagues.
" Well there's a first time for everything. We can only hope. :)
" Today I learned there is a recipe for divine vessels. And here I was wondering why I saw so few over the course of my playtroughs. +1 on the suggestion |
