Extra Gore Weapon Effect

I was testing this Effect and try things like Stack it with Carcass and Carnage Heart but was an obvious no, but what I notice the most and I think is the biggest problem of this MTX (that could be find on many uniques) is the problem of the tag "your" so this make any Totem, Trap, Mine and Minion build a worthless MTX, I understand the other tags like Phys and Critical, seems fair and have logic, but that Tag of "Your" have too much pressure to not buy or use it.

Not to mention that because testing this, I notice the pink elephant, that is the game itself is getting more magical than gore, less corrupted and more fantasy, I feel that the "horror" of being corrupted by pathing Wraeclast is just something that gets blur and vanish when you get finish campaigns.

I hope that this could make a Revamp or change of concept because I really like those stuff, and I someone ask, to me could be more fun with a splash pool of blood when you kill a big pack of monster with that skin, like the normal effect and if you kill them with one blow the blood splash could be notice with other effect, like scaling gore (power achievement).

the whole concept of having players add more effects by paying real money is based on a game with no effects in the first place.

in the current game which is overloaded with effects already, you rather look for mtx that bring more clarity into the battle (like "ebony tornado shot").

i really hope they can fix that discrepancy with poe 2.

Yeah I get the concept behind that, It could be awesome if GGG add a feature to eliminate the other players rendering, but, I have a few point to explain:

1- At this point, even with full clarity, you die without notice it, a bunch of videos of hardcore players with perfect clarity can show you that point.

2- There is a market of players that want cancer in their screens, no doubt of that.

3- If you buy an MTX knowing that will burn your eyes (ye celestial and radiant stuff), then why you would buy it if you want clarity?

4- Clarity with minion builds is like a dream or myth.

5- Your second point doesn't solve the first, as you said, "in the current game which is overloaded with effects already" but people know that there is a bunch of "monster skills" that vanish when you kill them, so shatter or kill faster is a better way for clarity, but ebony tornado shot is not giving more clarity, because you just apply "#000000" over the other skills (and that is not clarity) pretending to have better clarity but is not the case, the "other effects" are still there and if you block them with that color, well, you have less clarity (maybe more contrast), the nice part is tornado shot by itself is not a super wide flaming skill that cover many pixels per projectile.

So ye, that topic is for other post, but I hope that people can decide between see or not their skills too.

visibility in poe got really bad, i thought that a bigger screen could solve it but it really didn't. it's probably my age :)

the strategy of "killing stuff faster for more clarity" got countered with "after death effects" by clever ggg. and it also countered minion builds ...

you can't play tornado shot with ranged totems, more arrows and chain without the mtx. but maybe that's my personal condition cause i can ignore the black better than the pure ts effect.

Its about perception, I have the purple crystal tornado shot.

What people see with ebony is less visual stress, that's not better clarity, you just block the overwhelming bunch of particles on screen, and you "feel better", but that doesn't mean that you have better clarity.

Maybe a tiny effect could get close to you and pop you out of Wraeclast like almost any real killer stuff from the game, a good example was the syndicate operatives, their "EK daggers" are black, so in the same line of black skills you will never notice them with ebony TS, so yeh.

The "On Death" enemies skills is nothing new, I remember back then when volatile and explo was instant and you can't avoid them in the pass, and the new toxic/phys+chaos volatile that is always 3 on death at least have a good sound, and a decent delay to explode are green (and to me, green is not that common on the game, if you play poison or conc well that's not really good for you) what I could suggest is a bigger or brighter sphere.

Maybe you feel better and you still block visual enemies skills effect, but at the end, my recommendation to play with the lesser amount of effects is play Conversion Trap <3.
